How our GCSE tuition works
Baseline first, then a target
We offer every student an initial assessment so we know their true starting grade. Students on our Pass Guarantee scheme are then guaranteed a minimum of two grades above that baseline, provided they attend the required minimum number of sessions. If they do not get there, we keep tutoring free of charge until they do.
Taught to your exam board
Our tutors teach the AQA and OCR specifications directly, in Maths, English Language and Literature, the three sciences and RE. Lessons focus on what examiners actually reward: method marks, command words and mark scheme thinking.
Past papers until they feel routine
Weekend sessions combine topic teaching with regular timed past-paper practice and walkthroughs. Many of our students then sit their real exams in the same building they are taught in.

How much does GCSE tuition cost in West Bromwich?
Group tuition is £150 per month for three hours a week at weekends. Siblings enrolled together receive 30% off. There are no contracts and no registration fee, and one-to-one sessions are available on request.
Which GCSE subjects and exam boards do you cover?
We teach Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and RE, following the AQA and OCR specifications. Both triple and combined science are covered.
When do GCSE sessions run?
Sessions run at weekends for three hours a week at our centre on Lodge Road, West Bromwich, B70 8NX. All tuition is in person, in small focused groups.
How does the Pass Guarantee work?
Students on our Pass Guarantee scheme are assessed on entry to establish a baseline grade. Provided they attend the required minimum number of sessions, which we agree with you when you enrol, they are guaranteed to finish at least two grades above that baseline. If they do not, we continue tutoring free of charge until they do.
Can students sit their GCSE exams with you?
Many of our students sit their real exams in the same building they are taught in, including private candidates who are home educated or resitting. Entry fees are agreed when you enquire, as they vary by subject and board.
Do you take GCSE resit students?
Yes. We take students resitting GCSE English and Maths in the November series, and can handle both the tuition and the exam entry together. Entries close in early October each year.
